Team Events

Team events are based on the best three stableford scores per team of four players. Maximum unofficial handicap for the NZFMA Thomson Reuters Charity Golf Classic is 28 (male) and 36 (female).

NZFMA Thomson Reuters Cup

To be eligible for this event each team member must have an official club handicap.

NZFMA Thomson Reuters Open Cup

To be eligible for this event no more than three team players may have unofficial club handicaps.

Thomson Reuters Inter Dealing Room Challenge

This competition is open to any NZFMA member team playing in the Reuters Cup competition. The team with the highest combined total stableford score will win.

The Big Competitions

For Thomson Reuters customers and NZFMA members only

The four Thomson Reuters customers and/or NZFMA members with the highest stableford scores will qualify to participate in the ASX Reuters Charity Foundation golf day in Sydney on 24 February, 2012. You will also attend the dinner and auction. Now in its 26th year the one day golf tournament, played at the Pennant Hills Golf Club is a sell-out every year. This competition is available to NZFMA members and/or Thomson Reuters customers in New Zealand only.

Thomson Reuters will cover economy return flights to Sydney for four players, twin-share accommodation for two nights, golf for four players in the tournament and four places at the black tie dinner and auction.

For Thomson Reuters and nzfma Friends (i.e. non Thomson Reuters customers or nzfma members)

The two non Thomson Reuters customers and/or non NZFMA members with the highest stableford scores will win a round of golf and a night’s accommodation at one of New Zealand’s finest golf courses.
